Appreciating her serious contribution to the development and consolidation of the company's leadership positions in the luxury segment, the management of Unique Estates recently made Evelina the new partner in the team.
I joined the team at the very beginning of 2011, and for me it was not a start in the field of real estate. I came to Unique Estates with accumulated solid experience, but also with a huge ambition for development, which I could only get in a company like ours - an absolute industry leader in the luxury segment. Like any beginning, it was not easy, especially since it coincided with the peak of the global financial crisis. Times were tough for business back then, but I always believed that when one is consistent and honest, results don't come late, and I didn't give up. For me, success has never been the final goal by itself. I truly love my job and this is my key to success.
I started from the first step as a consultant. After a few record years, during which I consistently won the award for the highest number of deals, as well as a correspondingly upward turnover, I was promoted to Senior Consultant. This recognition, of course, was a strong motivation for ever greater dedication and loyalty to the company. Five years ago, I received the offer to hold the position of a team manager, which I accepted without hesitation and enthusiastically embraced the challenge to develop my team of professionals, to look at the company and the business in a new way.
I feel more and more responsible - to the team and to the company, but also more and more ambitious for new achievements and peaks. This promotion means a lot to me because I see it as a recognition of all the efforts made over the years, a mutual thanks for loyalty and overall success. I like to say that at Unique Estates we are like a family. We learn every day and strive to get better and grow together!
I appreciate all of them, from the first to the last award, because they are the result of enormous work. It may sound naive, but for me there is no big or small deal, work and success are passion and I take them as a challenge that motivates me to do my best. I believe this is what is behind my success. I love my job and do everything with my heart, really getting into each case. That's what makes the difference.
I believe we are no longer in the era of “the manager with the stick” , but rather in the one of “the manager with the carrot”. I may also open a human design bracket here as I am increasingly interested in humans and their different types. Well, in this regard, the Projectors are the new leaders - supporting, guiding, giving ideas and guidance, coaching. While the Manifestors, with their dictatorial approach, have long since ceded leadership positions.
As for the qualities that a manager should possess today, they are patience, attention, and ambition. I believe that personal examples are also extremely important.
I am motivated by shared successes, small daily victories, even by the obstacles and difficulties we go through together. When there is a united team working in sync, things happen and we prove it every day.
I have once again set very high goals for myself and the team, related to the implementation of successful deals and development of the people I work with. I have no doubt that, as usual, we will manage with ease.
For me, as a manager, the most important thing in this whole process is to see the smiles and the sparkle in the eyes of these girls who, like me, are happy with what they do every day.
