Unique Estates Life Magazine Global View, the only boutique magazine for luxury real estate and modern lifestyle, has started the year with a new editor-in-chief and plans to delight its readers with three issues a year. At the head of the media’s team of professionals is an exceptional lady - Maria Kassimova-Moisset. She is a journalist, writer and civic activist. Philologist by education, with extensive experience as a reporter and editor in various media, including BNT, bTV, "Standard", "24 Chasa", "Capital" and others. She was the editor-in-chief of the magazines "Capital LIGHT", НЕЯR, ELLE - Bulgaria and the lifestyle magazine EDNO.
The truth is that I have known both the magazine and the team for quite some time. The editor-in-chief at the beginning was my wonderful colleague and friend Mira Lazarova, an undisputed professional with whom I have worked in various projects. After that, another remarkable lady, with whom our profession has also given us the chance to meet - Teodora Nikolova, took over the post. I also know the company itself, because I have trusted its services when looking for a property. In addition, a few years ago I was invited as a lecturer and specialist in etiquette and protocol to do a professional training for the company's team. I was impressed by how much emphasis is placed on people's qualifications and their professional development. That's how it's done in today's world if you want to be competitive! In that sense, it was a recognition for me to be invited to take over Unique Estates magazine as its editor-in-chief. I used to run lifestyle magazines, so this is not unfamiliar territory for me, but a pleasure. This gives me reason to feel at ease. At the same time, however, the issue itself has its own specifics and it must be known and protected, so I have serious work ahead of me, in which I, in turn, must supplement my knowledge. I accept this readily and willingly. I love to learn and I do so all the time. I feel comfortable with the team because the manager Elisaveta Slavkova and I have worked wonderfully on other projects over the years and I know that we speak the same language.
Yes, indeed the world has become much more virtual, including in terms of media. On one hand, this is great - we don't kill trees, we protect nature, we can read from anywhere with our devices. But there is something very magical about a paper magazine! Between the two thick covers, some people have collected for you stories, experiences, travels, ideas, inspirations, and this is a very real, personal encounter. I am convinced that paper magazines will not disappear, but they will be much, much fewer and much, much finer in concept and craftsmanship. In this "analog" form, there will remain really valuable printed products that you can collect because they are exclusive. I know that Unique Estates Life Magazine is such a magazine. And I'll make sure it stays that way.
I think the face of such magazines is still being shaped globally. As the media world transforms and becomes a mostly digital platform, print publications must be uncompromisingly good. Those who support a particular business or were born alongside its needs have now realized that they can and should actually be much more than a corporate publication or a departmental product. This is provoked not only by the needs of the market and the broad view of the people who need it or drive it, but also by the general tendency for every good business that respects its customers to have its own specific, recognizable face and public profile. When it comes to the real estate business, this is even more important because choosing a home, or indeed a place, an environment to reside in, is something that cannot happen without emotion. If you touch people's feelings, you have already entered their personal world. As a journalist, I believe this access is confidential and should be respected. That is why it is also a mission to take care of the everyday, special or dream areas of a person's life, offering him accurate and useful information, inspiring ideas and occasions to dream more. In this way, not only taste is cultivated, but also an attitude towards everyday beauty and its creation and multiplication. As part of Luxury Portfolio International and Leading RE Companies of the World, Unique Estates holds high standards when it comes to customer service and long-term, responsible contact with the clients. I share this attitude as a journalist and as a person. Therefore, I will bet on high quality in every text, every vision and developed idea. A company's magazine is its face. The team and I will ensure that Unique Estates Life Magazine is welcoming, smart, fun and friendly.
Of course, every editor-in-chief brings their own personality to the product they create. In this sense, there is no way that the magazine itself will not change. It is beautiful and meaningful enough, what I will do is to maintain that spirit and protect the high standard. We will, of course, also have some new sections - about antiques, about ecological living, about taking care of the body and soul as a person's home, about the most modern technologies related to the home and time for rest and travel. We will be offering a world art calendar to help our readers know where to be to experience someone's creative celebration, as we know they are well-travelled and open-minded people. We will introduce them to interesting stories and personalities with missions. We will give them guidelines and ideas. I sincerely hope that through the pages of the magazine, people will really relax! Unique Estates Life Magazine is not just an album of beautiful estates - it is a place for the reader to feel relaxed, informed, enriched and most of all inspired. That's why its stories will be funny and have a human face. In this world of total digitization and meta-reality, it's good to remember that we need honesty and sharing. Let's not forget that we are human beings who need each other. It is my ambition to achieve this on the pages of Unique Estates Life Magazine.
