Krasimira Nikolova is a partner and manager team at Unique Estates. He has been professionally engaged in real estate for thirteen years. Prior to joining the company in 2007, she worked for the Diplomatic Properties Agency in the country. Krassimira holds a Master in Finance from New Bulgarian University, Sofia. Among the certificates for the courses she has undergone during the years is the "State diploma for broker", issued by the National Real Estate Association. Extremely positive and purposeful, Krasimira managed to distinguish itself with its high achievements over the years. She recently won the "Manager of the Year - 2017" award, as well as the "Significant Contribution to Company Development" award. In time, she won the race for the highest number of trades and the highest turnover for the year at Unique Estates. What do you like the most in the profession of real estate broker?
I like the fact that the job is full of challenges and it is different every day. I am happy to meet interesting people. Communicating with them is a pleasure because it motivates and enriches me. It has developed me a lot as a person and a professional over the years.
What makes a real estate broker really successful?
Every professional, regardless of the field in which he develops, must be competent in what he does. Of course, it is also important to be able to present your skills to the people you work with. Our profession is very dynamic. The successful broker, I think, must be extremely active and flexible, working with enthusiasm and being committed to what he is doing. I think it is important to give satisfaction to your work, to capture the customer's emotions and to be able to gain his trust.
What is Unique Estates for you?
Unique Estates is my second family. This is where we and our colleagues grew up and developed both personally and professionally. An example in this direction for me has always been Vesela Ilieva herself. What he has done for the development and establishment of the company, as well as for his personal improvement over the years, is admiring the whole team. What is "luxury" nowadays?
"Lux" is a word I've always been very careful with, because its meaning is different for everyone. For me, "luxury" is the ability to afford what makes you happy. Having the freedom to choose it, the circumstances to make it true and to truly enjoy it. For different people, these can be absolutely different things - material or spiritual.
What makes a property a real home?
For me, the home is the family! Milo, inviting you with the warmth, coziness and love of your close people, no matter where the world is.
Usually I do not get attached to things, but with all my moves in different homes over the years, I always take two pictures that have always enjoyed me and a favorite Italian mirror I bought as a student.
If you have one whole free month available, how would you spend it?
Oh, that's a dream come true! I'd love to plan a family trip to some hot destination. I will spend the month on vacation, read books, get to know new places. That would put me in charge with nice emotions that I certainly want to share with my loved ones.
What books do you prefer?
I love to read whenever I have time. I like the books that remain in me, provoke me and make me think. If I have to tell my beloved, it's "Atlas shrugged" to Ayn Rand.
Which are your favorite places in town?
I like the spirit of Shishman Street as well as the area surrounding the National Gallery "Square 500" and the Alexander Nevski Temple. I like to go out there or dine in some of my favorite restaurants in the old city center. I like Sofia and I would like many people here to be more active in the cause of a cleaner and beautiful urban environment, and I think everyone should give a personal example in this direction.
If we are here today, what would you do for us in your own kitchen?
I am very dynamic and active in my profession. I admit that I rarely stand in the kitchen for a long time. I usually cook things that do not require too much time. If you do, I'll cook fresh salmon fillet with vegetables. However, I pay particular attention to the layout of the table. For me, it is an art that enjoys the senses just as much as good food and I appreciate it.
Do you travel often and where is your favorite place in the world?
I love to travel and I think it is very important to do it often, because it is my way to fill up with good emotions, ideas and energy for fruitful work. My plans for the next trips include London, St. Petersburg and Moscow. I like to know new and different destinations, but if there is a place that really won me it is Italy because of its rich culture and history, good music, climate and cuisine.
