The Maldives are exotic, turquoise blue, with palm trees emerging from fine white sand. Images resembling postcards sent from Heaven. Galina Grudova, Senior partner and Team manager, and Bistra Georgakieva, consultant at Unique Estates, tell us about their trip there.
After a long and diligent selection, such as only an experienced traveler and connoisseur like Galina Grudova can do, she chose to settle in the very "lodge" of Paradise itself. The house where she stayed together with Bistra Georgakieva is part of the Grand Park Kodhipparu luxury resort in the Maldives. It does not hang over the water alongside another hundred similar buildings. From its bedrooms one may step directly on the finest white sand on the planet. Little crabs, hiding in the strangest shells walk on it every morning. The sounds of exotic birds and the gentle caress of the rising sun set the beginning of each day at this amazing corner of the planet. The resort Galina and Bistra stayed at is on the North Atoll, located at a twenty-minute boat ride from the capital Male. "I've traveled a lot round the world, but I can not point out another destination that fascinated me so much. This is a place to escape from the world, where you can indulge real relaxation, charge your body and soul with wonderful thoughts, good energy and a lot of beauty. I've never felt so free and happy, "says Galina Grudova. Despite its isolation, this Paradise is not a boring place. The Maldives are known as one of the most beautiful locations for diving and exploring the rich marine life of the Indian Ocean. After yoga classes and fitness workout, Bistra and Galina continued the day swimming, snorkeling and getting to know the area by boat. Coral reefs are home to colorful, exotic marine creatures that can only be seen there.
Bistra Georgakieva visited the island for a second time. She likes to explore new places and cultures and says that the Maldives are indeed her favorite destination. "Coral reefs, sandy beaches, tropical climate, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. There really is no such place on Earth, "says Bistra.
A mix of Asian and European cuisine, with an extraordinary variety of fresh seafood, impeccable service and all the pleasures that one can think of, made their stay there a true retreat for body and soul. Their journey charged them with plenty of sunshine, beautiful views of the azure sea and positive emotions.
When asked what they brought back from there, they both answered: "The best memories in life!"
We thank Galina and Bistra for this wonderful story of their trip to the Maldives.
