In our feature "Worldwide with Unique Estates," we are now traveling to another exotic location - the Mexican resort Riviera Maya. Our charming consultant, Manuela Ivanova, tells us about her journey there.
Riviera Maya is known as heaven on Earth. This is Manuela's first trip to this beautiful destination. She has been attracted to this place by stories of beaches with fine white sand, fresh seafood, beautiful nature and excellent hotels.
"I like exotic places around the world. In Riviera Maya, I was impressed not only by the high-end hotels and amazing natural beauty at this resort, but also by being able to experience the ancient Mayan civilization, "Manuela says. During her 10-day stay there, she and her family managed to visit the remains of ancient Mayan cities and explore the famous cultural and ecological parks there. Coral reefs and rich marine fauna and flora make this place one of the most beautiful locations for underwater scuba diving in the world. In the heart of the jungle there are hidden mysterious temples and pyramids. Nature has sculptured perfect stone troughs for the emerald waters of the cave rivers where people can swim up to their very influx into the ocean. In Manuela's photographs we also see beautiful flamingo birds, iguanas, dolphins and jellyfish from the aquarium in the park and rich tropical vegetation.
"The locals are very friendly, cheerful and carefree. This and the Latin music that you hear everywhere inevitably immerses you into their rhythm of life, "says Manuela. She likes Mexican cuisine and the variety of fresh seafood that has been served there.
In Tulum they visited craft workshops preserved in their authentic form, from where they brought beautiful handmade items from clay, porcelain, wood and leather.
We thank Manuela for the beautiful footage and story she shared with us.
