The trips with the Unique Estates’ team take us to a variety of locations all over the world. The first image from Mariana Taliokova's journey takes us to the famous Ocean Drive in Miami, Florida. Palm trees, beautiful sunsets and the captivating colours of the ocean. This was her first visit to the US and she was excited about these two weeks at the end of 2017. The walks on the beach, crowds of tourists, glamorous nightlife and warm weather in December remain as wonderful memories from her trip there. Mariana is in Miami in early December when the beach is dotted with exhibition tents, pavilions and installations of leading companies in the field of design and luxury goods. Art Basel Miami Beach presents the latest trends in modern technology, furniture design and virtually everything from the world of luxury living. From there, Mariana goes to the "neighbourhood of the rich," amongst some of the most expensive private homes on the planet, owned by various celebrities. Most of them may only be reached by water.
Little Havana is another interesting spot from her trip. "There you completely switch to a Latin American mood, with the Cuban music, the colours of Havana and the best Mojito I have ever tried," Mariana says.
The next stop is Key West - the southernmost point of the United States. "The highway was literally cutting into the ocean. Very impressive. The place is like a true movie set. There we saw Hemingway's summer cottage and lots of interesting buildings and galleries, "she says.
From Key West, the group headed for the Big Apple. From New York, Mariana returns with wonderful memories from her strolling on the iconic 5th Avenue with beautiful mansions, luxury buildings and boutiques, as well as Central Park and a trip to the Statue of Liberty. She is impressed by the scale of the megapolis, the rhythm and the dynamics that one can feel in the air there. She is also impressed by the Christmas musical they enjoyed in Broadway's iconic Radio City Hall.
From her trip she brings beautiful souvenirs to remind her of the wonderful experience.
