The latest analysis of the company indicates that the luxurious property market has shown high activity rate over the first six months of 2019, supported by the continued economic growth, the low interest rates and the increased activity on the lending market. After prices of properties in downtown Sofia reached an unrealistically high level last year, this year they went through certain adjustments, and this has stimulated buyers.
The past six months have marked an average of 12% drop in prices of luxurious properties in Sofia compared to the same period of the previous year. The higher rate of discounts in 2019 is also distinctive. Discounts over the first half of the for the most part were up to 5%, but over the course of the same period in 2019, deals with discount exceeding 5% have the biggest share.
Concurrently, by the end of 2019 and 2020, the supply of new developments is expected to increase, which will result in increased supply and tougher competition.
