BELL.bg - the first mobile and web based English language learning application developed especially for Bulgarians

We present to you the first adapted mobile and web application for long-term and easy learning English, created in Bulgaria. Behind the ambitious project is Marieta Georgieva from Chatsworth English Speaking School.

The idea was born three years ago after years of experience with summer language schools in Sozopol, St. Vlas and the Language Center in Sofia. The team then decided to create a product that would add value to the interactive training with foreign teachers at the center. The company has put in a lot of resources and effort and six months ago launched its product on the market. Everything in the app - from the design and the text, to the videos and images used in it, is copyrighted by the team. It contains 960 interactive modules with more than 600 exercises, 120 video tutorials with subtitles reflecting real life situations. Included are 120 grammar explanations, self-preparation tests and an own integrated vocabulary. Bell.bg has been on the market for about half a year, with the company reporting over 21,000 downloads, over 7,000 regular users, over 3,000 paid subscriptions and over 900 issued certificates.

The application is really convenient. It allows the learning process to happen anywhere, anytime, using our phone or tablet while we are at the office, in the park, traveling in public transportation, or just waiting for someone. In this format, training is very effective as it saves time and resources. Many of the expressions in it are translated into Bulgarian so that the student is facilitated to the maximum and does not have to waste time searching for translation or grammatical explanations. Instead of short-term memorizing of words and expressions, the student learns the language through a time-efficient methodology. He thus gains a lasting knowledge by covering all language components - listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Bell.bg covers all levels of preparation from A1.1 to C1.2. The methodology and application are suitable for all ages 14 to 70 years. The BELL.bg program covers all the requirements of the pan-European reference language framework. All participants who have completed 100% of the lessons in one level receive a certificate attesting knowledge of the level.
