Anniversaries call to mind the best of memories. Four of our colleagues are celebrating ten years with the company - making everyone in Unique Estates very proud. Here they answer questions on work, memories, and looking ahead.
Magdalena Velikova, Advertising and Brand Manager / Property Editor at Unique Estates Media
My best time at Unique Estates was... At the ceremony for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the company, when I was honored with the reward to join the Miami Group at the Luxury Portfolio Conference. For me, this was a recognition of my work during the years and made me feel really appreciated.
I'll always remember... my job interview 10 years ago. I was interviewed by Lina Smileva. She made me feel so relaxed that at the end of our talk I felt free to openly ask her if I was already appointed.
What I’ve learned in the company ... This is my first job in Bulgaria, the first employment contract in my life ever. Working for the company I learned to be responsible and patient. I changed my style and shaped myself as a person, an employee and a woman.
The complicated and tense situations I overcome... with patience. The work of my colleagues is extremely dynamic and tense. In stressful situations, they need someone beside them who can calm them down and help them do the job. The most complex and tense cases I handle with the following routine - I take a deep breath, slow down the pace and start little by little to solve all the issues I have, one by one.
I chose this profession because... it is very dynamic and gives me a kind of lifestyle I can hardly find anywhere else. I am lucky to be surrounded by very intelligent and experienced people who I learn a lot from. We work in offices that are really inspiring as a surrounding. My job is dynamic, but it also allows me to do it from whichever part of the world I am.
From the future, I expect... to keep on learning while facing new challenges.
To my younger colleagues I wish... to be patient and understanding, to think and feel, and not to bend over when they face difficulties.
