Greece's idyllic island siblings, the Cyclades, scattered across the Aegean Sea, are renowned for their ancient history, stunning views and sparkling whitewashed architecture. Among them, Mykonos stands out as a party paradise. Here are the fortresses of Gizi and Chora, just two kilometers away is the small island of Delos, according to legend the birthplace of Apollo, with its ancient sanctuary and remains of an ancient theater. The numerous beaches under the rocky hills, whose sand is as white as the buildings and whose turquoise waters are crystal clear, invite sunbathers. Mykonos also has the reputation of being the most cosmopolitan of the islands. The central part of the capital, Mykonos Town, known locally as Chora, is closed to vehicles, allowing pedestrians to stroll the narrow, winding streets filled with cafes and boutiques and with views of the famous windmills perched on the hillside. Nightlife Mykonos has earned the nickname "Ibis of Greece" with the non-stop parties in the bars and clubs. The hilltop private villa overlooks the Aegean Sea north of the bustling capital. The combination of traditional Cycladic design and luxurious modern elements makes it the perfect place to unwind from the night's entertainment. Its 245 square meters (2,637 square feet) are spread over three levels, with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The master suite on the top level has its own veranda with stunning views, and the middle level is open plan living and dining areas. On the lowest level are the remaining bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and views of the outdoor pool. The interior is minimalistic and peaceful. The combination of sparkling whitewashed and exposed stone surfaces is in sync with the whiteness of the surrounding buildings and the brownish hues of the rocks. The smooth lines of the arches, the fireplace, the built-in shelves and the furniture enhance the feeling of coziness and comfort. Among the furniture there are also finds from Italy and Bali, as well as restored Greek antiques. The possibilities for relaxation and recreation outside are endless. If the clubs aren't enough, the bar is a fantastic venue for private parties and the barbeque can prepare delicious food. The swimming pool goes right to the edge of the cliff and has a comfortable spa area. For relaxed evenings at home, the outdoor cinema also offers entertainment. But beyond all the comforts of this seaside villa lies its greatest asset: the view of the sparkling waters and golden sunsets of Greece.
