On August 28 and 29, the square in front of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral became a grand stage for musical artistry. Under Sofia’s open sky, the spectacular “Gala in Sofia 2025” took place, with Unique Estates | Christie's International Real Estate honored to be an official partner.
The opening night gifted audiences with a breathtaking performance by the virtuoso Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo and the world-renowned soprano Sonya Yoncheva. Their program blended operatic classics with modern crossover interpretations, accompanied by the Sofia Philharmonic under the baton of maestro Nayden Todorov, creating an unforgettable evening.
The second concert left a lasting mark on the hearts of listeners – for the first time in Bulgaria, two of the legendary “Three Tenors,” Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, shared the stage alongside Sonya Yoncheva. On the eve of the 35th anniversary of the iconic trio, the audience experienced a musical event of global significance. The stage radiated emotion and grandeur, and the applause echoed long after the final notes.
“Gala in Sofia 2025” attracted audiences from both Bulgaria and abroad, and was covered by prestigious international media, presenting Bulgaria as a destination for culture, art, and inspiration.
