Fantastic wines, blooming rose fields and diverse contemporary art united by a benevolent cause at the second edition of the Copsa Open Art Festival at Chateau Copsa Winery.
During the traditional Bulgarian Rose Festival at the end of spring at the foot of Chateau Copsa, famous for its superb wine, contemporary Bulgarian art was given a most original stage for expression - the vast rose fields in the heart of the Rose Valley.
This year's Copsa Open Art Festival, held for the second time and promising to become a tradition, brought together cutting-edge exhibitions, organised talks by contemporary artists and provided opportunities for wine tastings and gourmet cuisine. Among the visual contemporary artists who presented their works here were Iliana Ilieva, Mika Sav, Konstantin and NIKYOTO - artists whose names are already familiar to collectors around the world. The main media partner of the event was UNIQUE ESTATES LIFE MAGAZINE. With enthusiasm and inspiration, our team embarked on the magic of creativity, rose picking and wine.
The most important cause of Copsa Open Art this year, however, was the children's artists. The festival provided pupils and students from art schools and colleges in the region with free access to all the events on the programme, thus introducing them to contemporary Bulgarian art and its artists in a relaxed conversation. Caring for the spiritual development of children attracted by the world of art is not new to the Château's team, as children and the mission of their spiritual development have always been part of Château Copsa's philosophy. At the second edition of Copsa Open Art, however, it found its large-scale realization in the dozens of future artists of Bulgaria inspired to create spiritual beauty.
Copsa Open Art lasts for a few days, but the Chateau remains available for guests and visitors throughout the year. Here you can stay for a great holiday in the luxurious rooms of the hotel part, try interesting gourmet and national cuisine, relax by the pool or taste the wines of the cellar. A visit to the winery is not to be missed, because there you will taste the white and red wines and rosés of the new vintage, and you will also get to know some truly unrivalled representatives of older years, which now have collectors' value. The guided tours, led by specialists, are a real added value for the wine culture of anyone who has a relationship with this ancient and wise drink.
