Malinova dolina is a prestigious south district in Sofia city situated in immediate proximity to Students town with all conveniences, entertaiments and infrastructure that Students's town provides.

It is situated west of Mladost 4, on the south it borders the Ring Road. Sofia Business park is 10 min. away. Sv. Kliment Ohridski Blvd. passes through the quarter and on both its sides, in proximity to Darvenitsa quarter, there are many warehouses, small manufacturing premises and office buildings. South of the National Sports Academy complex, there are 9 streets with many new luxury buildings as well as free plots.

The quarter is built predominately with one-family houses. The new plan of Malinova Dolina foresees construction norms with better urban planning indicator and big terrains for greenery. The main intention of the municipal administration at present is to improve the state of the water and sewerage system and the street network of the district.

Malinova Dolina is favored for its location with good transport links, the quick and easy access to the central part of Sofia. The free plots still have comparatively reasonable prices and there is a variety of terrains between 500 – 2000 sq. m. In the eastern part of the quarter, which borders Mladost 4 housing estate, there is a tendency for construction of small 3-4 storey buildings with planted yards and controlled access, which makes them attractive for buyers in the price levels between 80 000 and 120 000 Euro.

There are no schools, health establishments and kindergartens, as, according to the old urban plan, the quarter was planned as a village zone of the city.
