Gorna Banya is one of the most preferred and green neighborhoods in the southwestern part of Sofia, administratively part of the Ovcha Kupel district. It is located at the foot of the Vitosha Mountain, on hilly terrain with exceptionally clean air and panoramic views of the capital, the Vitosha and Lyulin mountains. The neighborhood borders Ovcha Kupel and Knyazhevo and is located near the Sofia Ring Road, which provides quick access to both the center of Sofia and the city's exits.
