For the third consecutive year, Sofia hosted one of Bulgaria’s leading events dedicated to real estate, business, and investment. Realto Group International Conference 2026 brought together more than 750 professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors for an intensive day of diverse perspectives on the future of industries, digitalization, and economic shifts.

The forum was opened by Yordan Angelov, Executive Director of Realto Group, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of shared experience, bold ideas, and the drive for growth in a dynamic environment. Once again, the conference demonstrated Realto Group’s ambition to extend beyond the real estate sector and create a platform for dialogue among experts from different industries.

From the Changing World Order to Real Estate Market Decisions

The program began with a conversation between Pepi Dimitrova and Georgi Milkov — a journalist, long-time war correspondent in the Middle East and Africa, international relations analyst, and author. Under the title “The World Is Being Reshaped. Who Will Set the Rules?”, they explored turbulent times, the changing international order, and the factors shaping relations between nations. The discussion provided a broader context for understanding the economy, investment, and business, highlighting that decisions made by companies and investors do not exist in isolation from global developments.

The next panel, “When the Rules Change — What Comes Next for Income, Investment, and the Real Estate Market?”, shifted the discussion towards Bulgaria’s economic outlook. The moderator was Gergana Tenekedzhieva, Executive Director of Address, and the panelists were Nikolay Vasilev, Managing Partner at Expat Capital; Strahil Ivanov, Executive Director of Yavlena; and Filip Popov, Chief Retail Banking Officer at Postbank. The panel presented market data and statistics that helped outline trends in income, investment decisions, and real estate. The central focus was on how the new economic environment would affect the market and which factors would shape its next stage of development.

The market discussion continued with the panel “Building Success: Projects That Work,” dedicated to successful project development models and the intersection of local and European experience. The moderator was Vesela Ilieva, Managing Partner of Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate and New Estates. The discussion brought together Dimitar Savov, Executive Director of BLD; Arch. Nikolay Simeonov, Managing Partner of VAMOS; Anton Andonov, Executive Director of ERA Bulgaria; and Nevena Georgieva, Operations Manager at United Agencies Realto.

The panelists presented analyses, market trends, and examples of projects standing out in the current market, examining the decisions behind their successful implementation. The discussion emphasized strategic planning, understanding customer demand, and the ability to develop projects that create long-term value.

The program broadened its perspective to international markets and investment opportunities with the panel “The Global Real Estate Map.” Alexandra Dyankova, Manager International Markets and Communications at Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate, led an engaging discussion with Marko Gvozdenovich, Founder and CEO of Iron Group / Christie’s International Real Estate Montenegro; Anna Tonova, Senior Consultant at SAVOIR | Unique Estates, Dubai; and Nikolay Tsvetkov, Investment Manager at AG Capital. They outlined key trends across global and regional real estate markets, explored markets that continue to attract international capital, and highlighted destinations whose potential is only beginning to emerge. The discussion also focused on the factors influencing investment decisions beyond Bulgaria’s borders.

Success in Action: Personal Effectiveness and Business Transformation

An inspiring perspective on the relationship between professional goals and personal life was offered by Tihomir Toshev, Managing Partner of Credit Center, in his keynote “Surfing, Real Estate and Loans — How to Design the Life You Want.” Taking to the stage with his surfboard, he drew on his personal experience to highlight the importance of discipline, time management, and responsible financial management. His message was that success is measured not only by professional achievements, but also by the freedom to build the life we want.

During the VIP lunch, speakers and VIP guests had the opportunity to continue their conversations in a more private setting, exchange ideas, and establish new professional connections. The format created space for closer interaction and discussions beyond the main conference program.

The afternoon continued with the panel “Business Leaders: Innovation and Digitalization,” moderated by Sergi Sergiev, CEO of CATWING and Founder of the Data Science Society. The discussion featured Yancho Dimitrov, Vice President of Technology at Avenga; Kris Ivanov, Co-founder and CEO of Legal Tech; and Todor Velev, Product Owner at Realto Group. The panelists discussed the role of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and innovation in business transformation. Through demonstrations and AI-generated videos, they illustrated how emerging technologies are expanding opportunities for companies and paving the way for new business models. The conversation explored potential directions for industry development and the challenge of turning technological progress into a genuine competitive advantage.

Leadership and Success Strategies Through an International Lens

Among the conference’s key international speakers were Duncan Stevens, behavioral psychologist and leading expert in communication and influence, and Massimo Forte, consultant, bestselling author, and internationally recognized coach in the real estate sector.

Duncan Stevens captivated the audience with a session dedicated to trust, influence, and leadership in times of constant change. With his energetic and interactive style, he turned the keynote into an engaging audience experience, inviting attendees onto the stage. This approach brought communication, personal effectiveness, and influence to life through direct audience participation, rather than presenting them as abstract concepts.

Massimo Forte focused on the future of the brokerage profession, building high-performance teams, and strategies for sustainable success. Drawing on more than 30 years of industry experience, he shared practical approaches to client relationships, professional development, and adapting to a changing market.

The Power of Partnerships and New Horizons

The conference raffle brought further excitement, with lucky winners receiving exclusive prizes: a trip for two to a European capital of their choice from Luxutour; an exclusive Range Rover Sport test drive and two nights for two at the boutique Hotel Amira in Bansko, courtesy of Moto-Pfohe; two spa breaks for two at Grand Hotel Therme; and two technology prize sets from Motorola.
