Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate and Arteks Engineering unveiled the first terraced building in the Balkans

An elegant atmosphere, striking architecture and panoramic views of Vitosha Mountain brought guests together for an exclusive event hosted by Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate and Arteks Engineering at the Zafir & Emerald residential development in Sofia’s Izgrev district.

As the autumn sun began to set, guests had the opportunity to discover the building’s concept, explore its architectural features and learn more about the last seven apartments available for sale. Three of these residences feature private landscaped terraces – outdoor spaces that extend the concept of urban living and create a natural connection with the surrounding environment.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from Arch. Plamen Miryanov, Executive Director of Arteks Engineering, and Vesela Ilieva, Managing Partner of Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate. They introduced the project and its distinctive features, highlighting its architectural concept, green spaces and meticulous attention to detail.

The name Zafir & Emerald draws inspiration from the surrounding environment and the symbolism of sky and earth – the connection between nature and architecture, which is reflected throughout the building’s design. Its terraced structure, landscaped spaces and panoramic views define the project’s distinctive character, creating a sense of balance within the dynamic urban environment.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to explore the remaining available apartments and experience the atmosphere of the development firsthand. An interactive VR experience allowed them to immerse themselves in virtual representations of the residences and gain a more comprehensive understanding of the spaces and possibilities they offer.

The musical programme added another dimension to the evening, featuring saxophonist Svetlin Kuslev and musicians from the Orpheus ensemble, whose performances on harp and flute created an elegant ambience. Accompanied by music and spectacular sunset views, guests enjoyed a sophisticated cocktail reception and the opportunity to discover the project in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
