About Region

Pavlovo is a quiet south quarter with beautiful panorama of Vitosha Mountain and good transport connections.


To the northeast it borders the Buckston Quarter, to the northwest - Tzar Boris III Blvd., to the south - Nikola Petkov Blvd., to the east - Bulgaria Blvd. 



Pavlovo is characterized with low construction consisting mainly of houses and blocks of flats built in the 80s. The location of the quarter, the fresh air, the quietness and the greenery attract investors and construction companies the last few years. The preferred places for new development are around the Zname na mira Square, Preki Pat Str., Simeon Radev Str., Pushkin Blvd., etc. The newly-built apartment houses fit excellently the old Pavlovo quarter.  

Although it is far from the centre of Sofia, Pavlovo has a well-developed infrastructure. The streets are asphalted and well-kept. The Municipal Administration of Vitosha region, part of which his the Pavlovo quarter is at 2 Slantze Str. There are two schools in the quarter. Primary School No. 5 Simeon Radev Str. and  High School No. 157 Sesar Vayeho on Ivan Susanin Str. There is also a big kindergarten - Pushkin Branch Central Kindergarten № 16. There is a Tax Department for the Vitosha region at Tsar Boris III Blvd. and Belmeken St.



The transport connection with the centre could be made by busses 260 and 63, tram  5 and trolley 2. Tram  19  goes to the Central Railroad Station. Bus 260 connects the quarter with Gorna Banya, 107 и 63 - with Boyana, 111 - with Mladost, Ovcha Kupel and Lyulin. Tram 11 provides connection with Krasna Polyana, Sveta Troitza, Nadezhda and Ilientsi.
