"The Magnificent Sunday" in Generator was a fantastically tasty, fragrant and inspirational Scandinavian experience. Good afternoon, with which we set the beginning of the good days ahead. We gathered ideas for beautiful gifts for your loved ones and wrote the first points in our Christmas wish list.
The organizers from the space for design, culture, innovation and creativity gathered together for the presentation of YPPERRLIG - a collection created in the style and aesthetics of the Danish company HAY for IKEA. The event was warm and friendly, with a whole program in the spirit of the northern worldview. Everyone felt at home, located in the comfortable seating area of the collection.Items, accessories and stories in photos, videos, and music were exposed. A great selection of products with which we could transfer some of the feeling home. Carefully selected artists 'and brands' items were shaped as a Wish List for upcoming holidays.
Everything in the atmosphere was referring to the North, even the scent. DoTERRA explained to us that the Scandinavian home-made fragrance is grounded, balanced, brimming with superfluous sweetness. We felt it in the air from their beautiful diffusers in the hall.
We continued with the essential oils and flavors of Angelica skin care. This is the artist's project Anna-Alexandra, who showed us her products based on herbal extracts, essential oils and base oils, resins, crushed seeds and herbs. Especially for the holidays it also offers Angelica winter tea. We have kept the aromatic mix for the warm nights at home.
The feeling of coziness and comfort complemented MINTY's knitwear. Soft blankets, knit in hand in nice gray right and beautiful vests and autograph hats and accessories. We put them in wish list-a, before the landscape is white.
I / TEMS added our familiar aromas of sandalwood, rose, lavender, vanilla and fig leaves with Sun Garden and Moon Flower aromatic candles, decorated exquisitely with Rozalina Burkova's illustrations.
The Frakta bag in the HAY version was one of the things we added to our wish list. He stood very elegant in the shades of dark green and burgundy
GARDEROB introduced its new line for the cold season. It was broadcasting strict Scandinavian beauty with its clean monochrome lines.
White and fine, there was Yt-shirt - the high-quality, exquisite and always needed white T-shirt.
Shawl made us sick of the cold Scandinavian afternoons and the upcoming season with their beautiful soft and warm scarves. We liked those of cashmere, wool and angora in neutral tones.
We gave life to the interior of our home with the beautifully arranged plants of Cactus Lab. Succulents and cacti had settled in fine ceramics and wood.
Ideas for interesting gifts came from the HYGGE stand. Our favorite online shop for selected beautiful items, accessories, and prints of Scandinavian spirit has arranged the latest additions to magazines, books and notebooks.
Publishing house Janet 45 had selected valuable books from Scandinavian authors in editions with nicely illustrated covers and MD Magazine offered an interesting selection of their issues.
Food was an integral part of the event. The aroma of cinnamon rolls, saffron muffins and raisins, Christmas cookies and other special baked goods turned the space into a hospitable home. Tasty pastries were prepared by Slaughter Bread on proven Swedish recipes. We did not write them down, but we were able to enjoy most of them live. The Drekka barista's master hands reminded us of the aroma and taste of the real coffee filter. And for those who did not choose hot beverages, 100 Beers had prepared nearly 100 kinds of fine beers in northern Europe. There was also a special Christmas Estonian beer - a porter with vanilla, coconut and cardamom.
We managed to bring the atmosphere home with fantastic pastries, author's products, books, publications and fragrances, and spent a good afternoon with friends. And for you, we have prepared a list of several similar events, where you will also find good ideas for gifts in the days before the holidays.
